Learning is part of the fun!

I love learning and when it comes to design, getting to try things 'outside the box' is a fun and valuable experience. Experimenting should be fun! I can recommend a number of websites which offer designers, old and new, the opportunity to test and develop their skills in online challenges, as well as meet like-minded people.
